I'm Oliver – I like making things that bring people joy.

MY ACADEMIC INTERESTS INCLUDE

• Improving my Chinese! (I speak Mandarin!)
• Understanding the relationship between aesthetically pleasing design and intuitiveness, usability + potential to elevate the human condition
• Universal neurolinguistic theory and its effects on our understanding of cognition
• Architectural innovations that enhance our understanding of human-spatial relationships and the built world

MY TIME OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL IS LARGELY SPENT

• Sailing (i420s, FJs, C420s, looking to try Waszps soon!)
• Skiing (controversially, I prefer icy snow–I used to ski race)
• On my bike (or, more accurately, fixing my bike)
• Learning new songs to play on my ukulele
• Talking to anyone about anything

IN SAILING, I AM A

• National champion in the i420 Class (Orange Bowl, 2019)
• 6th place finisher at the Youth World Championship (Poland, 2019)
• Member of the Dartmouth Varsity Sailing team

AND NOW DIVING INTO MY IDIOSYNCRACIES
